First-year writing seminar, graded, no pre-requisites

This course is first and foremost a writing class, and by the end of the semester you will have gained some important tools that will help you write for a variety of audiences at the university level. Thematically, this First-year Writing Seminar will introduce you to biodiversity conservation issues from a postcolonial studies perspective, with a specific geographic focus on sub-Saharan Africa.
